Interplay Learning Helps You Meet New 2019 NABCEP CEU Requirements

Changes to NABEP"S recertification requirements go live January 1, 2020

As previously announced, NABCEP is finally ready to implement their new re-certification requirements starting this month, and Interplay Learning can help — a lot.

The new re-certification requirements increase the number of hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from 18 to 30, also opening up the work experience requirements to include more ‘industry involvement’ options.

You can earn lots of NABCEP CEUs when you complete our video and 3D/VR simulation-based solar courses. They help you qualify to sit for the PV Installation Professional Exam, and, you can use them when you re-certify for the PV Professional, the PV Associate, or any of the PV Specialists credentials.

Just to review, we currently have twelve solar courses that qualify for NABCEP CEU’s. This updated table lays it all out, so you can see which courses have content and hours associated with which credential.

If you’re going to sit for the PV Installation Professional exam, any of the hours in that column count towards the 18 hours you need from a non-accredited training organization. For re-certification, our hours count for every credential, and fulfill the 12 hours you need from the learning category “Specific to Job Task Analysis” and “Specific to Renewable Energy”.
