Huge News! Earn NABCEP CEU Hours With Our Solar Courses

Nov 20, 2018 4:12:17 PM

It's finally here! You can now earn NABCEP Continuing Education Units or hours (CEUs) when you complete our solar courses. This will help you qualify to sit for the PV Installation Professional Exam.

Alternatively, you can use your CEUs when you re-certify for the PV Professional, the PV Associate, or any of the PV Specialists credentials...

From our Course Catalog Page, click on the little information symbol (‘i’) for a particular course. This will bring up the Course Description page. On this page, you will see a Continuing Education Units section which lists the NABCEP credentials that match the content of the course, as well as the CEUs or hours that you earn.

Once you complete a course, the ‘My Dashboard’ screen shows you a growing list of all the Certificates of Completion you have earned.

You'll find your certificate of completions under "My Certificates" on the Dashboard. Here you can see the credentials associated with that course and the hours you've earned. Click the download button in the top right hand corner to download and print the Certificate.

We currently have twelve solar courses that have NABCEP CEU’s. Since they apply differently to all six of the NABCEP credentials, it can be a little confusing. We laid out this table to help explain it better.

If you’re going to sit for the PV Installation Professional exam, any of the hours in that column count towards the 18 hours you need from a non-accredited training organization. And then, for recertification, our hours count for every credential. They can be used to fulfill the 12 hours you need from the learning category “Specific to Job Task Analysis” and “Specific to PV Technical”.

So, just remember that no matter what NABCEP certification you’re going for, completing our solar courses helps you get those hours that you need.
