Earn a Career Readiness Certificate

“Free learning for a trade is always a plus, and even in the short lessons gives you a decent bit of basic knowledge to begin a career or, depending upon the trade, help you out personally for your own projects. What’s not to love about it?”

- Thomas Sturdivant | Lowes Associate

The program is designed to help you start working in the trades, giving you the knowledge and skills to become more marketable to employers. Track to the Trades is like a pre-apprentice program. We work with your market leadership to connect you with a potential installer/provider.

The Track to the Trades program is a self-paced, online course, including pre-recorded videos and simulations. You are welcome to complete all of the tracks, but they must be completed one at a time. Lowe’s covers the cost, so the program is free.

The curriculum gives you a baseline understanding of the trades. At the end, you will not be a professional, but you will have the terminology and know-how to get started in an entry-level role in the trades.

Send an email to support@interplaylearning.com, including your sales ID and store email, along with which Track you want to work on next, and they will get you enrolled!

These are optional certifications that can help boost your resume and are offered at no additional cost. OSHA 10 is recommended for all learners and applies to safety guidelines in every industry, while EPA 608 and NATE are specific to HVAC equipment and recommended for individuals who will be working in that field.
