Does my computer meet the minimum recommended system requirements to run the ResCaz sim and Practical sim training and exams?
WebGL System Requirements
We require a 64-bit operating system, and a 64-bit browser to run our simulations in WebGL in the browser. Our simulations run on most modern browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox. Internet Explorer is not supported.
A PC with 8GB of RAM is recommended, though the sims may load on a machine with 4GB of RAM. They will not load on a machine with less than 4GB of RAM.
You can expect an average load time of 2 minutes for the simulations on a machine with 8GB of RAM, and 3 minutes on a machine with 4GB of RAM.
You should have an internet connection speed of at least 10 Mbps. We recommend a speed of 15 Mbps or greater.
CPU
Your machine's CPU should have a passmark rating of at least 2700. To check your CPU's passmark rating you can visit this page: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php
Most Intel i3, i5, or i7 processors should be sufficient. Machines with Pentium, Atom, and Celeron processors are usually not powerful enough for the simulations.
Windows System Requirements
We require a 64-bit version of Windows. Windows 7, 8, or 10 is required.
XP and Vista are not supported.
Minimum 4GB of RAM.
You should have an internet connection speed of at least 10mbps.
