Driving development of Interplay Learning’s Solar Training Platform
Enabling Interplay to transform training for professional trades
Interplay’s booth at Solar Power International was one filled with excitement, laughs, and even an occasional scream as attendees tried the Virtual Reality showcase of a Curb Energy unit install. The users entered the virtual environment using an HTC Vive and a high-powered Alienware computer donated by Dell Technologies. One guest said, “I honestly did not want to take another step because I felt like I was going to fall off the roof it looked so real.” After the week of show attendees trying the VR showcase Doug Donovan the CEO of Interplay Learning said, “Even though this was a fun demo, it became obvious how impactful Virtual Reality will become to the training space because as people become enveloped in their environment their engagement peaks. When you combine engagement and education the options are limitless."
